This year's parade is the headline event and forms part of the Manchester Irish Festival, which began on March 7 and runs until St Patrick's Day itself, Monday, March 17. Join Manchester's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday 16 March 2025! For the first time since 2021, and marking its 35th year, the parade will start at 12pm from the Irish World Heritage Centre and end at Deansgate. This year's parade celebrates Manchester's vibrant Irish community. The run-up to St Patrick's Day on Monday also sees a bumper schedule of live music, Irish culture and good times through the weekend at venues across the city, including the pop-up Irish Village on St Ann's Square, as part of Manchester Irish Festival. The St Patrick’s Day parade forms a focal point of the wider Manchester Irish Festival, which runs from Sat 8 Mar – Mon 17 Mar. Hundreds of events will be taking place at various venues across the city as part of the festival, including the Irish Village which takes over St Ann’s Square. This course features a fast start on Elm Street, a 3 mile loop through Manchester’s North End, and a finish on Elms Street in front of the Shaskeen Irish Pub. The 10k course repeats the loop a second time.
